Welp. This is just about the greatest thing I've ever read. You such a wonderfully assured grasp on the characters; they were completely recognizable as Hardison and Eliot (and Parker and Sophie and Nate and oh my god I about died at terrifying absentee sous chef Sterling) and yet worked as fully independent characters in this universe. Your Hardison voice in particular is spectacular.
Every single detail fell into place so wonderfully, from the mouthwatering food porn, to the awkward-yet-awesome first time sex, to Sophie swanning in and getting everyone fabulously drunk, to, well, pretty much everything. The entire story is just exquisitely structured and moves at exactly the right pace.
Also: magic truth bacon! You know when you read something and instantly know that it will stick with you forever...yeah. Magic truth bacon is one of those things :)
